CYBERIX RULES

These are the rules. They are not suggestions. They are not open for interpretation, debate, or future amendment. They exist for one reason: to keep the site online and functional. Everything else is on you.

1. ILLEGAL CONTENT IS FORBIDDEN. Do not post content that is illegal under United States federal law. This includes, but is not limited to: credible threats of violence, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and non-consensual intimate media. Consequence: Permanent ban. Your information will be handed to law enforcement upon request. No exceptions.

2. SPAM IS FORBIDDEN. Do not intentionally disrupt the technical function of the forum. This includes flooding threads with nonsensical or repetitive posts, and unsolicited commercial advertising. Consequence: Ban.

3. DOXXING IS FORBIDDEN. Do not post personally identifiable information (PII) of another user without their explicit consent. This includes real names, addresses, phone numbers, private social media, or place of employment. Consequence: Ban.

4. MALICIOUS CONTENT IS FORBIDDEN. Do not post links, code, or files intended to harm a user's computer or compromise their data (e.g., viruses, phishing, keyloggers). Consequence: Ban.

MODERATION POLICY (This is also a rule)

  • Transparency: All bans will be publicly displayed on the offending post with the reason. (e.g., user was banned for this post by rave ## MOD: "Doxxing")
  • Functionality: The DELETE button hard-deletes a post from the database. There is no soft-delete, no ritual, no second step. What you delete is gone forever.
  • No Edits: There is no edit button. Think before you post.
  • Content Warnings: Moderators may append a content warning to a post containing disturbing (but legal) imagery instead of deletion. Users may choose to view the content at their own risk. This is not a rule violation, it is a courtesy.
  • Everything Else is Permitted: If an action does not violate one of the four rules above, it is allowed. Moderators will not take action based on tone, offensiveness, "bad faith" arguments, or popular opinion. The community is expected to handle its own disputes.

CYBERIX PRIVACY POLICY

We collect data. We do not hide this. This document explains what is taken, where it is stored, and how it is used to keep the system running. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site.

1. DATA COLLECTION LOGS Every interaction you have with this system is recorded. We do not guess; we log.

  • IP Addresses: Your IP address is stored in the analytics_log and identities tables. It is used to enforce bans and track session statistics.
  • Browser Fingerprint: User Agents and referrer data are logged. This helps us distinguish between unique visitors and bots.
  • Session IDs: A persistent session identifier is stored to track your activity across requests.
  • File Metadata: If you upload an attachment, we store the filename, file size, MIME type, and a SHA256 hash of the file.

2. CONTENT RETENTION & PERMANENCE

  • Permanent Storage: You cannot delete your own posts. Once you submit content to the database, it stays there forever.
  • No Take-Backs: There is no edit button. There is no delete button for users. Post with the expectation that your words are archived permanently.
  • Moderation Deletion: The only way content is removed from the database is if a moderator hard-deletes it due to a violation of the Rules. This removal is immediate and irreversible.

3. ACCOUNTS & ANONYMITY

  • Anonymous Posting: Registration is not required to post. You may interact with the site entirely anonymously via a generated poster hash.
  • Poster Hashes: We utilize a "poster hash" system to identify you across sessions without forcing a username. This hash is linked to your post history.
  • Registration: If you choose to register, we store a username and a hashed password.
  • Emails are optional: We currently do not require or use email addresses in the identities table. Your account security and password recovery are your responsibility.

4. ANALYTICS

  • We run our own analytics on the analytics_daily_summary and analytics_monthly_summary tables.
  • We track total hits, unique visitors, and top URLs. We do not use third-party trackers (like Google Analytics). Your data stays on this server.

5. BANS & MODERATION

  • Ban Data: When you are banned, your identifying information (IP, subnet, or identity hash) is stored in the bans table alongside the reason and the moderator who issued it.
  • Permanent Record: Bans are permanent by default unless a moderator manually lifts them. We do not track "lurking time" or engagement statistics for banned users beyond the initial ban data.
  • Public Accountability: As stated in the Rules, ban reasons are publicly attached to the offending post.

6. THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURE

  • Donations: We utilize Ko-fi for fiat transactions. Transaction IDs are stored in our donations table to verify donor status. Financial data is processed by Ko-fi, not Cyberix.
  • Law Enforcement: As explicitly stated in Rule 1, we will comply with all valid legal requests from United States law enforcement agencies regarding illegal content (CSAM, threats, etc.). We will not fight subpoenas to protect your anonymity.

7. DATA DELETION

  • We Do Not Delete Data: We are not willing to delete data.
  • Immortality: Once information is committed to the database (whether it is a post, a registration, or an attachment), it becomes a permanent part of the site's history. We will not remove user accounts, posts, or identities upon request. We will not honor "right to be forgotten" requests without valid reason.
  • The Only Exception: The sole circumstance under which data is removed is when a moderator hard-deletes content for violating the Rules. This is an administrative action to maintain the site, not a service to the user.

Summary:

We collect exactly what is necessary to keep the forum online and enforce the Rules. Once you post it, it belongs to the database forever.

If you have a problem with any of this, use an anonymizer. We endorse the use of proxies, VPNs, and Tor for safe internet usage.
