Do you use the main social medias, Reddit, Facebook, Twitter etc?
Have you found your usage of the platforms to be better or worse lately?
Are there any alt-social medias that you use? Have they improved?

>>3838 I've used twitter for years and still do, but I only follow a few dozen japanese artists so most of the bs people usually complain about has never affected me. And yeah I know I could follow them using other methods but it's easier this way, besides I like to reply to their posts and they usually reply back which is nice.

I also stopped using 4chins recently. It became too much of a nuisance, but honestly it's for the better. I simply didn't want to bother with spam, shitposting and lack of proper moderation anymore. At least I had a few laughs here and there, so it's not like I regret it, but it was time to move on.

Recently been on nostr, great ideas but most devs there are vide cooders you can't trust their clients and apps
would recommend it if you find a good client by a good dev

i no longer use """"social"""" media since 2021. only reddit (should i consider that as social media?) but i'm lately getting bored of that shit and even with the changes they're doing on old.reddit so i'm barely using it now.

I don't have an account to post

But i will sometimes look at
Reddit
Mastodon
Twitter (via nitter)
Lemmy which is like decentralized reddit (it sucks)
Blue sky

If I were to post I'd pick mastodon but I prefer sites with no accounts

I'd say they are all going downhill. Reddit, Twitter, and assumedly bluesky are full of bots. So much of the front page of reddit is just reposting old shit to karma farm on what are probably bot accounts.

Mastodon is the only one that has kind of improved but it's got a long way to go to for the masses to get on there
