I think someone could make a decent creepy pasta out of the literal fucking autonomous computer robots that can speak to you and execute commands on your computer if you install a program. Yeah, if you exploit the hype and fear surrounding LLMs and their mysterious blackbox nature you might be able to get something going if you make it realistic and function within fair logic

vhs analog horror minecraft scary real life ARG movie series videos where the main character gets harassed in real life by le real spectre does not feel like creepy pasta to me
also i'm thinking in terms of
actual original classic creepypasta
you write a good and engaging story and from there it spreads like a virus because it's convincing, sounds true, spooks the shit out of you (and especially children) and goes from there
that is how many historic "creepypasta characters" were born and spread
with the slight exception of slenderman because he spawned from a photoshop thread and exploded through a video game and a youtube series and not exactly written text in a story
i dunno
what's going around on youtube now feels like it's just carrying the original name whilst having forgotten what the name actually signifies
creepypasta
copypasta
copy and paste
creepy story that you copy and paste
