This forum functions the same as General Discussion. Read this for more information on that.

This forum serves to be a zone for anything else that generally doesn't fit in the site's general discussion area or doesn't meet the level of quality we're looking for in General Discussion. However, just like General Discussion, ??? disallows the following:

• Child pornography
• Direct uploads of material that is illegal in the United States to the forum
• Gore, shock content, or pointless image dumps of human beings

Threads that we feel do not fit in General Discussion but could live on the site elsewhere will be moved to ???. Collections of posts that also do not fit in a General Discussion thread may be branched off into their own thread in ???

This should not give posters an excuse to make threads or posts in General Discussion with the expectation that they will be moved to ???. We will just delete them outright if we observe you to be posting with malice.

Older threads and posts that we feel now misrepresent the site or are quite outdated will usually be the bulk of what gets moved to ???. Do not be surprised if you see very strange threads made by capcoded posters here.

Consider ??? the off-topic part of the site. I am experimenting and very interested in seeing how this plays out from this point on.

Do note that we will move threads back and forth between General Discussion and ??? depending on the thread's overall quality. If you make a thread that we believe should go in General Discussion, we'll move it there. If you make a low quality thread that should go in ???, we'll move it there, too.
