I haven't been to the majority these sites before, so this just reads off as a low quality rant. This thread really does have some potential but I legitimately do not know what OP means when he mentions shit like

i also don't like this obsession with 'teh old internetz', history is there to learn from, not to worship. it clearly had its own problems seeing as it's also nickname "the wild west era of the internet", but if there's one thing that can be observed, it is that people of the modern internet do NOT have the civility to enable good alternative websites or free speech.
