i made a website on neocities. i have barely any experience with html code or coding in general so its pretty barebones but it was fun making it :)

I like it. Really liked the mental contrast that went thru my head when I first visited the site:
>Oh, it's completely black.. There's a scary eye in the middle of it and it's telling me to 'look through my world'. Will I be stumbling onto something edgy, or something?
I am then immediately thrusted into what I can only say is a pink wonderland.

For a personal website, it's neatly layed out and the relevant information about yourself seems to be in logically correct places. No problem with it, but I'd assume that if someone turned JS off, they wouldn't be able to see your favorite songs (the spotify embeds), but it's not really a major problem.

I looked at your first blogpost, and I am kind of curious in regards to your old website. What used to be on there? Was there a ton of stuff, or was it generally minimal? Did it look any different (I guess in terms of aesthetics)?

Anyway, questions aside I'd personally say this website is pretty neat and I'd say you're getting a hang of HTML pretty fine. Great job :)

thank you all for the nice feedback :D

in regards to bradtober: as yk an edgy teenager, it used to have a lot of vague emo text but the code was very badly formatted and unorganised, so i decided to remake it. i didnt really know what i was going for so it was a mess of free images i stole from pinterest. it still kinda is, but more with a theme sorta. thanks for checking it out!

No worries! Less can be more when it comes to things like this. Convey the information you wish to portray first, and focus on shiny visuals last. The site looks great! Don't be afraid to mess around, especially when you're learning.

wOW. its been so long since i first created my website, around the same time i joined this forum i think. It's kinda insane, how much I think I've matured since then. Anyway, I updated my site to make it look, I guess, more consistent. It's lost a bit of it's jazz, but most of the jazz did too much with too little meaning. Thank you to everyone that visited my site, I appreciate you all :)
