However, they grew a big following for one particular reason. Visa & MasterCard both have been unusable for steam money purchasing, and which 4channers on (i believe, /v/) have posted a particular operation, known as "Operation: Fight Fire with Fire".

It's just harassing Visa & Mastercard about steam and such.. I didn't get deep into it but the organizers against this whole ban were an "AntiPorn Group", now from here it's a good point, however they did get MasterCard & Visa banned off for steam.
