Why you open with the claim that distilled water is contaminated and then never refer to why in your entire post? Distilling is the best way to clean water that exists. Distilling may look energy and time consuming, but it's still cheaper than buying bottled water, which then is not distilled, instead of buying bottled water you might as well just drink tap water.
