This thread is for documenting instances of targeted harassment, public shaming, coordinated pile-ons, and other forms of abuse directed at contributors to free and open source software projects.

The goal is purely archival: to preserve a record of what is publicly visible across GitHub, mailing lists, Mastodon, forums, and other platforms.

If you have a link to a public post or thread where a FOSS contributor is being harassed (e.g., personal attacks, death threats, sustained bad-faith criticism, coordinated brigading), please share it here along with a brief description and a screenshot or archive link.

Guidelines:
- Only public content. No private messages or non-public logs.
- Do not encourage further harassment or retaliation.
- Keep commentary to a minimum. Let the evidence speak.

Example entries to start the archive:

1. Libreboot / Leah Rowe
- Context: Libreboot maintainer Leah Rowe has been the target of repeated harassment on GitHub and Mastodon, including being called "Francis" (deadnaming), mocked for her gender identity, and accused of being a "troon" or "schizo" by users on KiwiFarms and other platforms.
- Sample posts:

- Sample: GitHub issue threads, Reddit posts calling for forks, etc. (find links)

3. Omarchy Linux / DHH
- Context: Pull request adding Omarchy support for Libreboot led to Leah Rowe's involvement and subsequent harassment. (https://web.archive.org/web/20260410131141/https://github.com/basecamp/omarchy/pull/4230 )
