I think SFTP is better than FTPS and it's very straightforward to set up as well.

I'm all for everything here but my internet is also aids, cuz it's DSL. I did use a shitty WYSE thin client behind my router and that did host a fileserver for a bit, but I had to organize shit and just opted to use Google Drive.
