I haven't been to the majority these sites before, so this just reads off as a low quality rant. This thread really does have some potential but I legitimately do not know what OP means when he mentions shit like

nah, but if you're comparing tools, a 2007 4chan feels different. my baofeng's got more than a decade of use on 433mhz, the baofens from then aren't made anymore, the screen's fine but the radio's been a piece of shit. it's not the same level of fidelitty, and the baofeng's the only one that's held up.
