Noticing that the forum's become pretty stale quickly, and everyone who was posted last month or so practically dropped out all at once. I can't help but correlate this with the small dip of activity from me and @admin while the forum overhaul was in the works.

So, I have two questions:

1 - How can we bring these old users back? Are they even aware of the enhancements we've made?

2 - How can we bring new blood into the site?

3 - How can we truly begin to start a cohesive and dedicated community whose motives and dedication are based off of the shittiness of the modern Web and unwillingness to settle with ticking timebomb sites managed by underaged children trying to larp like "the old internet was soooo quirky and full of glitter" who inherently reinforce the very problems that led to the current state of the Web in the first place?

4 - How difficult is it going to be in order to encourage newcomers to the idea of dropping all other websites and services in exchange for Cyberix?
^ This is what I plan to do, eventually. The only way I shall interface with the Internet will be through The Cyberix Network and only through sites that I deem are strictly useful and important for the information that they may wield.

Let me all know what you think. I have the following ideas:

1 - Try to start trying to advertise on 4chan and other chans.
^ Someone has been doing this for us, but archives say it's very erratic. Having a dedicated "colonization" effort would be helpful given that whenever it's posted, it often gets deleted in less than an hour and is widely ignored, or met with backlash
(Can we also stop fucking posting about Roblox and nothing but Roblox?? There are other things you can do here except obsess over a pedophile game)*.

2 - Begin actually trying to integrate with webrings
^ I tried doing this myself but then noticed that most webrings required some kind of javascript to function. At the time I didn't realize that I could just externally load JS from a file but I also don't fucking like unneeded JS. My solution will be to create a dedicated Webrings page which will contain both raw HTML and Javascript to satisfy these problems without clogging the front page.
This is a good long-term solution, especially if we manage to shove ourselves between the more bigger webrings, like Lainring and Agora Road.

3 - I don't actually have any other ideas outside of technological terror against innocent zoomers. Let me know if you have anything that isn't that.

Apologies, I am kind of bad at English. I have a limited vocabulary, despite watching videos with words I don't know yet still understanding them.

Anyway,

Here's what I wanted to discuss:

Regarding point 1 (trying to bring back old users), I don't think they were going to be very active anyway. They were just going to make a few posts and not talk much after that.

This site is supposed to be the future of discussing Roblox-related topics, but here's the thing:
Not many people talk about Roblox here.

So, the forum that's supposed to be the future of Roblox discussions, similar to the Roblox developer forums, doesn't have many people talking about Roblox?

We need more Roblox-focused content, like posts about game development and tutorials. This forum could be an alternative to the terrible Roblox developer forums, where posts about the Roblox engine using more memory than before would be considered "off-topic" and removed.

Thanks for reading! This is my take on the problem of the site's lack of growth and stagnation, as well as the lack of new users, and how to fix it.

Zoomers aren’t setting up websites to larp as oldfags, where do you get these ideas from? I get that you’re in your 30s or 40s but being this out of touch is quite remarkable.

That's surprising, given that there are entire communities dedicated to reviving old versions of big corpo websites solely because it was what they used as a kid and not because of anything else. Outside of websites, there are people who are dead set on trying to make the latest Windows version skinwalk as 7 or 95-2K (and it's certainly a sight to see as they don't actually use Win32 to accomplish this 90% of the time).

Take a look at the following links:

You don't see any "old 4chan" mockups every 5 months, do you? I haven't.

^ This melonland site has their own forum which I believe actually takes my original point and overdoses it on crack cocaine. Take a close look:

There's also the Agora Road, which, while they do have an extensive webring, I have to call out their shitty website:
https://forum.agoraroad.com/index.php
It slows my browser to a crawl. Their site's styling looks as if they're trying to mimick basic HTML table structure, but in reality, it's all Jabbascript.

Yeah, I don't think I'll be falling for that. Ultimately it's just Xenforo with a "retro" theme slapped on top of it, so there's nothing to really bring home about in regards to the site itself. I barely looked around before I clicked off.

Don't forget about the entirety of NeoCities, which can be absolutely chock full of this kind of glittery gif spam, too.
Perhaps you have some alternative opinions on what's going on here, or you've seen things I haven't, but it really seems like these people are trying to take things from decades prior and pervert it into some kind of sludge that will never truly represent what it actually was for the sake of ill-gotten nostalgia.
They're failing miserably at this. Rather than carefully observing, looking at archives, looking at the mountains of legacy Internet information that can easily let you in on how software was developed, communities were built, and so on..

They would rather try their hardest to rip it out of whatever YouTube 'nostalgia compilation' video they saw that day and try to make it accommodate their modern life.. so to speak. You can't just pretend that you're 'nostalgic for the old internetz' when you sit on Discord as your primary online communication vector, paying for Nitro (and subsequently rewarding them for their centralization and privacy violating efforts) and only consume your content through massive conglomerates who will never go back to their olden ways..
And additionally, just to add onto that, why do these people think these large companies even cared about them in the first place? They were bad then and they will be bad now, with plenty of evidence and simple research that someone can find on their own to prove it. However, Zoomers will not know this information in the first place, because they were small children.

They will not care about that information, either, because LARPING matters more than being accurate to the source material, as long as they can be given affirmation from others for it.
They aren't nostalgic for any sense of community or gathering, they're nostalgic for when they were small children looking at shiny web icons. They don't appreciate the technological designs behind it nor do they desire to actually drop modern ones for the ones of old; They can only see the very surface of what they're after.

Gotta say, I took a look despite you shitting up /g/ and I just really don't know what the point of this forum is? Even less so now that I've read through a few threads. This seems like maidposting, i.e. achieving nothing while spouting a bunch of buzzwords and pseudo-philosophical ideas. Just vaguely hating on zoomers is nowhere near enough to build a community. The constant larping allegations also just feel like projection considering the state of this place.

Things are in the works. There's already a stable infrastructure built here, and only 3 weeks ago, prior to the forum overhaul, interesting and diverse topics were being discussed. There's more to this forum than hating on zoomers, and this is the only topic where that's even been mentioned.

Forums that are fresh startups are obviously going to lack in content. That's where your goal as the user is to introduce the forum to new ideas and new topics that haven't been discussed here, and this is something that should be easy for everyone to grasp.

I'm not the one shitting up /g/, but I'm quite aware of the silliness going on from it.
