What I’m Into: Tinkering with Linux, retro hardware & software, and extreme weather.


Why I Joined: I’m sick of the modern Internet and its' inhabitants, so I built this place so real, genuine conversations can take place.


Fun Fact: This forum, forked off of NinCollin's MiniBord project, was heavily modded and expanded upon for about 3-4 days straight while it was public. Now we have lots of awesome features and mechanisms that truly tailor the software towards Cyberix and its needs. This was my first time ever looking at and using PHP!

Looking to escape the city, and embrace the true southern. Big fan of the 70s-80s and old tech.

Big fan of this site, it feels like 'the last real refuge' from all of the garbage. Please don't suddenly shut down!!!

The Minibord project seems pretty niche and obscure.. I wouldn't have been able to find it all on my own at all.
How'd you discover Minibord, and why was it the base you chose for this website to use it with? Were there any other options you looked at?
