Kiwifarms hack & source code leak discussion

Is this what happens when you rely on AI for developing your forum and basic technical support?

Kiwifarms is what you get when you get an attention starved imageboard developer and add a little bit of reddit spice to it. There is no tangible difference between KF and Reddit. They have their own superiority complex meanwhile they're wrapped in constant infighting and usually the information that goes public from these infights really does go to demonstrate what kind of people you're dealing with when you take a look at that site. Rarely will you ever find a good-willed individual with a strong mental frame consistently posting on that site in the pursuit of these "lolcows*. I can't even remember the last time I saw anyone who was mentally well. Meanwhile Josh continues constantly grifting and having spergouts on the forum and the people there just sit and take it because of "dear feeder.. our le king" .
If you use that site, you should stick to lurking rather than participating in the equivalent of a minefield. Eventually they'll turn on you and decide that you're a lolcow once you trip up.

Unless you're like that one dude who wanked to limbless lolis and drew amputees and whatever the fuck else, you should be fine, shouldn't you?

This wasn't even a real leak. Absolute nothing burger. Although I can still LOL @ how Josh is relying on AI for absolutely everything

KF just got a security update because they had someone actually look at their code, not some chatbot dumping "security best practices" from 2018. still gonna find more backdoors somewhere, but it's good that they're fixing the obvious ones

Kiwifarms is a joke now if, you don't even have staff actually digging, into it, not just an AI tossing around outdated practices.
The least they could've done was tell people at some point, when the last update was, and give a little context on what got patched.

No big new information here, this thread is talking about Kiwifarms' past (lack of) security updates and its AI-driven support. A subtle detail I can add:
This board's default “back” link is just a refresh; the JavaScript doesn't even redirect to `https://limewire.com/`. It looks like `/`, except in tiny letters, like it was stolen from some forgotten 2006 forum thread.
