observe the following:
1 - site was most active when we had dates
2 - zoomerniggers petitioned to bring back dates
3 - site has slowly declined in activity because we brought back dates
4 - the new redesign has completely embraced dates
5 - the site is incredibly inactive now
the average internet nigger sees dates and doesn't want to participate because "le old" or something which contributes to the problem of the site being "le old". fuck these people remove dates. i never had a problem with not seeing dates. information is timeless you stupid fucking retards i benefit all the time from linux threads made in 2003
FYI: bringing back dates has killed this site again
Dates are good, because I want to see replies to the threads I participate in without having to refresh each of them.
>information is timeless
It isn't. A linux thread from 2003 might be useful, but a lot of them aren't relevant anymore so it makes sense to prioritize more recent ones. Forums in general suck at saving information in a "timeless" manner, wikis are much better for that. Unfortunately, they require more effort to contribute to.

PS
>Dates are good
The implementation here sucks though, since the topics listing displays the time of the first message instead of the last.

I stopped posting here because of rude people like OP. The new design looks better than the old one, and I couldn't care less about dates, but it seems the community is just as bad as always, so I'm going to leave again. If I wanted to be around people like OP I'd just use 4chan.
Why do you let other people influence whether or not you'll use Cyberix? Just flush them out with well-mannered threads and posts instead of being affected by the immature ones.

The newer generations aren't as tough-skinned as the older generations that were on the Internet prior to their arrival. It's just something you'll have to get used to ;P

shut the fuck up this makes no sense this is better:
>the community is just as bad as always..
>so i'll leave instead of making myself a part of it in order to make it less bad
>consequentially keeping it bad
i'm inviting all of my friends over to make this community good
just you wait
