I think its more of a matter of being the change you want to see in the world. Contribute to this place, make good replies and good threads. Don't be a shitposter or a flamer. Try to start good discussions instead of beating dead horses. If you find yourself not having good discussions for a time, then you probably need some new experiences in your life then you can make posts about those.
Cyberix having game servers is one such way to join in and make stronger connections. I'm going to check them out and see what they've got on offer.

Hello, I participated in the "State of the Web 2026" thread on 4chan. I have been keeping an eye on Cyberix for about a month now, so here are a couple of notes and criticism I have over that time.

The font size stands out to me. I understand having a smaller font to encourage more descriptive posting and a higher information density on the site, but 12px is a bit much specially on screens larger than 1080 (I have a 1440p screen) Maybe a 10pt font would be better?

Why does the layout keep changing? It's almost like it went from a forum to an aggregated blog and now a usenet interface? It's cool but I would like a standard interface.

The first time I went on this site I checked the users tab to get an idea of the userbase. I saw a lot of soyteen aligned accounts. Not that I mind but I also wouldn't have much faith in a forum dominated by them or similar.

I'm still sizing up the userbase in general. I can tell the content is high quality, but is this the kind of place I can invite my smart but less terminally online friends?

I'm open to such a thing, but I design and test on a 1024x768 screen so I'd have to determine whether or not this is something I can justify doing.
Are there any downsides to using your browser's zoom function to make text smaller that necessitate this change being done site-wide?

Cyberix has only been around for a year and what I want Cyberix to be has been changing inconsistently. This kind of constant change has slowed down quite a bit as of late. Our last interface lived for five months which was the longest time we went without changing anything.

I agree with you. I believe the current interface and features will be an unchanging standard from now on, since it serves both our current and our previous usecases in a clean and consistent manner.

Heheh, that was definitely a year ago at this point. We haven't had a 'users' page in quite a while, and accounts have become useless unless you're a moderator or want some kind of capcode.

I'd say that we're openly hostile to those kinds of individuals because they're inherently associated with low trust, low quality behavior that's no different from nonsensical bot spam.

Please, feel free! The more intelligent people that reside here, the more resilient the site becomes when it comes to retaining that sense of quality and improving it.

I'm interested in learning more about the forum and especially the different layouts and themes it had, they look very nice. I would love to get my hands on the themes I don't have archived.

Anybody know of a way to do custom Cyberix themes yet? Maybe I should slopcode a sort of client frontend or something. Or maybe that would defeat the purpose.
Either way, I'm alright with the current theming. I'm using dark mode with a 120% zoom because I found the text size too small for me.

Cool, I have more faith in this site knowing these things.
As for the font size using the browser zoom is more of a work around. How about a drop down menu or text field to select different font faces and sizes? Should be very simple to implement and would cover all screen sizes.

I have to agree with the anons in the proposal thread that this UI is clunky, however it's close to those classic text boards which I'm fond of. It's mainly the layout of the frames and navigation which doesn't lend itself to a forum format.

I also noticed the state dox in user posts. That's actually really cool, I'd love if more of the net was localized. If I see a poster from my state I might be able to contact them and make an IRL friend.
