I've been growing quite dissatisfied with the forum's codebase. There are a lot of things here where I'm not completely taking full advantage of the data available to me.. among other things.

I made the dumb mistake of not putting common needed functionality into a core file using the same structure Minibord did
^ This mostly is a problem every single new feature of mine has except the permissions system
The way pages are structured feels overly complicated because of the whole theme aware HTML tricks Minibord has and I feel it could've been done better. Anytime I add a new feature, like notifications, I have to edit every single theme to implement it!

This definitely needs a new design, and thus it is being worked on. It's going extremely well, but I do have to wonder whether or not
the Cyberix fork of Minibord should even be considered a fork, but rather it's own thing. Is that how that works?
