But yes, language shapes a culture. English is more submission-inducing because it has many words we don't know the meaning of. We take more of it as given. We acquiesce. I believe it's either cryptoterrestrials or ultraterrestrials who designed/shaped much of human language. They're smart enough to construct a language from scratch, i.e. it's not THEIR language, but one they designed easily. Things you can do with 500+ IQ. Who was Shakespeare, or his muse, really? Making up so many English words.
