The Specifications and Philosophies of The Cyberix Network [pinned]

Cyberix started as a private website for a small group of people. We had some game servers and not much else. At some point, staying a closed clique stopped being interesting, and we decided to open the site to the public. The forum launched publicly on June 7th, 2025.

The reasoning behind building this place, rather than using something that already existed, came from a few overlapping frustrations.

The first is the state of the internet as it exists now. Most platforms are built to extract attention and money from their users, not to facilitate anything of lasting value. The content produced on them reflects this. It is shallow, repetitive, and produced to satisfy algorithms rather than people. There is no real reward for quality or depth.

The second frustration is more specific. There has been a wave of communities and projects framing themselves as revivals of some better, earlier era of the internet. Most of them are costume parties. They try to replicate the visual style of old websites, old forums and old imageboards without understanding what made those places worth anything. The value was never in the aesthetics. Rather, it was in the people who were genuinely building things, writing things, and thinking through problems in public. Those people were REAL HUMANS who existed and put in real effort. That effort is what produced the culture being imitated. The imitation drops the effort and keeps only the look.

Cyberix was built to represent what that creative and intellectual output actually was, not what it looked like.

---

What Cyberix Is:

Cyberix is a hybrid of a forum and an imageboard. We describe it as an "imageforum". The core structure is that of a forum: boards, threads, threaded replies, long-term archival of conversations. On top of that we have incorporated imageboard elements. We believe that there are parts of imageboards that are inherently superior to traditional forums. Therefore, allowing both to co-exist maintains a familiar yet new environment while allowing more efficient ways to read, navigate and contribute to the site. The design of the forum means that the site is capable of supporting both fast and slow activity. Threads do not get deleted when they fall off the front page. They get buried. If someone finds a two-month-old thread worth replying to, they can.

The forum is supported by a set of complementary services.

We do not use Discord, Matrix, or any other centralized service for communication. We run IRC, XMPP, and Mumble servers. All three are bridged, meaning a message sent in one protocol appears in the others. This has practical value: people do not have to agree on a single chat client to talk in the same room. We have between 58 and 67 people connected to these services at any given time.

We run six game servers. The games we host were chosen based on a specific standard: they must be easy to launch, DRM-free or otherwise free from launcher dependency, and worth playing. We are not interested in hosting games that require a corporate platform to check whether you are allowed to run them. Several of our servers run modified or older versions of games that are no longer officially supported by their original distributors. Game nights are easy to coordinate because the chat infrastructure is already there.

We publish long-form articles on the site. These are original writing on topics relevant to the community: technology, online culture, and the various ideas we find worth arguing about and feel like they are representative of Cyberix.

---

Technical Philosophy:

Cyberix requires no JavaScript to use. There are no trackers, no advertisements, no CAPTCHAs. Tor exit nodes, VPNs, and datacenter IPs are not blocked. Anonymous posting is permitted.

The site was designed to function on Netscape 7.1, Opera 7.02, Internet Explorer 6.0, and Dillo 3.2.0 at both 1024x768 and 640x360. It also functions correctly on modern browsers and mobile devices. This was not a nostalgic exercise. Building to these constraints forces the site to remain lightweight and accessible on a wide range of hardware. A site that requires a modern browser with hardware acceleration to render a text forum is a site that has been built badly.

---

The Spam Problem and HOW we solved it:

Anonymous posting creates a persistent problem: anyone can post anything with no accountability. Most sites solve this with IP bans, CAPTCHAs, or JavaScript fingerprinting. All three add friction for legitimate users and fail against anyone with access to a proxy network.

We have taken a different, more exotic approach.

The first layer is a dynamic rate limiting system. Anonymous posting is free and frictionless until a flood pattern is detected. When that happens, the system automatically tightens limits on new anonymous posts while preserving the ability of existing users to continue. There is also an optional account system. Accounts do not force or require public usernames or post histories. They are antispam infrastructure. Accounts can be created through an invite tree: existing users can generate invite codes, and the account tree is logged internally. If a cluster of accounts tied to one branch turns out to be a spam operation, the entire branch can be removed at once. Account post limits are low for new accounts and increase as the account ages and posts normally. A spammer who tries to blast posts through a fresh account neutralizes themselves within a few posts.

The second layer is a lightweight vision model that scans all uploaded attachments and assigns them an NSFW score. Attachments that score above the threshold are blocked automatically. Moderators can override false positives manually. This was deployed to address a problem that affects every anonymous imageboard regardless of size: automated or coordinated distribution of illegal content. The model runs asynchronously and does not require human review before images go live. It also filters pornography and gore as a secondary effect, keeping the visual interface SFW without requiring constant human attention.

The third layer, deployed on March 8th, 2026 (one day ago as of this thread's creation), is an asynchronous LLM moderation system. It processes posts in batches and flags content that is low-quality, bad-faith, or disruptive by the standards of the site rules. It does not target posts simply for being negative or controversial. It targets posts that have no productive content and exist only to degrade the quality of a thread. Phase 1 is currently running with public warning banners on flagged posts so the community can surface false positives before the system is trusted with autonomous action. The goal is to handle the moderation problem that cannot be solved with rate limits: the human poster who is present and deliberate but contributing nothing.

---

Growth:

Cyberix is quickly growing at an exponential rate.

From June 7th to December 31st, 2025, Cyberix recorded 932,589 total hits across 392,444 unique visitors.

January 2026: 704,264 hits, 456,135 unique visitors.
February 2026: 680,561 hits, 386,573 unique visitors.
March 2026, first nine days: 166,757 hits, 100,979 unique visitors.

All-time as of this post: 2,484,171 hits, 1,336,131 unique visitors.

---

Operations:

Cyberix runs on a VPS costing 36 euros per quarter. The domain costs $15 per year. The monthly donation goal to cover costs is $14. The server infrastructure is containerized and modular, meaning we can migrate to a different provider rapidly if necessary. Nightly database backups run automatically and our server files are backed up roughly monthly.

We attempted to bring in passive income through advertising to reduce reliance on donations. We applied to EthicalAds, Carbon Ads, and BuySellAds. All three rejected us. Their requirements ranged from demanding analytics tools we do not use to restricting publishers to developer-specific niches. We are not interested in ads that require tracking users, breaking old browser support, or compromising the site's character. We are not in a position where this is a crisis. Cyberix runs cheaply and the donation goal is low.

---

Philosophy of the Network:

We want Cyberix to be a place where people produce and preserve things worth reading and using. We are looking for long threads that develop real arguments, projects that create real solutions and conversations that would not survive on a platform built around engagement metrics because they are too slow, too long, or too abrasive for the algorithm.

We are not trying to reproduce the "aesthetic" of an older internet. We are trying to produce something that has the same qualities that made such an era worth remembering: people building things, thinking in public, and not being managed by a corporate structure that profits from their activity.

The site is independent, small, and intends to stay that way.

Actually I have a big Cyberix archive but it's mostly downloaded threads from this current state.

I made this archive as a sort of backup incase the forum had another spam attack and had a few threads deleted during the process of cleaning up the spam posts

HOWEVER I have a small archive of that really early June stage of the forum along with smaller archives of other stages of the forum

the image with only a black background and red text is the error screen

aaaand as expected the forum didn't let me upload the 2 mhtml pages
they were 2 archived pages, the first one being the home page and the second one the roblox engine degradation thread

I'm going to just resort to sending screenshots
if any of you guys have some archives of cyberix please share them with me

Also nevermind this is the JULY version of the forum not JUNE
I think this is also referred to as the "Dark Metal" version

Can you explain why every second post on this platform look the same and generated by ChatGPT?
Why there's "hundreds of hundreds of hits" yet no one actually seem to engage in posting anything worthwhile. No, copypasting from ChatGPT tab and changing some words here and there is not "effort posting" you're talking about.

And every third post is just crossposting from other boards. Again, no "effort posting", just bringing other people's shit here. I'm not against that, but at least give me a link, I'll go talk THERE instead of wasting my time replying to fake OP that doesn't give a fuck and won't engage in anything.

Who's actually using your shit? It seems like no one, the boars is empty and those "numerous unique visitors" don't tell anything. I see that no one give a fuck and there's close to zero living souls that are actually doing anything.

We are a free and open anonymous forum that even lets you post on it using Lynx. Unsurprisingly, in the age of LLMs there's going to be a slow trickle of garbage that consistently comes in and occasionally gets past our human sensibilities.

There is no solution to this that doesn't involve going the "TastyFish" route and locking down HTTP access (see: https://www.tastyfish.cz/ ).

>Who's actually using your shit? It seems like no one, the boars is empty and those "numerous unique visitors" don't tell anything.
>there's close to zero living souls that are actually doing anything.
The majority of our activity goes into the services that we host.
The forum is for longform discussion, long-term archival and aggregation of information and resources that we may find interesting.
Cyberix is more than just a website. The forum is not the main appeal.

If the state of the forum is to be improved, people just need to use it better. That's it. Everything you see here is the result of something commandeered by a human regardless of the amount of abstractions between the human and the post. That does not mean we allow garbage generated by LLMs (we actively delete it when it comes up and it hasn't cemented itself into a thread as actually contributive), but to solve the poor state of the forum is to be the solution to the poor state of the forum.

LLMs posting under secrecy is still a major problem that I've yet to solve nor combat consistently. What's even worse is when old posts and threads that have become incredibly well-received or "representative" of the site are suddenly suspected of being synthetically generated.

Got any suggestions?

>We are a free and open anonymous forum that even lets you post on it using Lynx.

I am geniunly thankful for the effort of keeping this forum accessible for text browsers. I don't use modern bloated corporate bullshit and prefer to use software that are actually made for people by people, that is using the computer resources rationally instead of requiring gigabytes of storage and ram just to run. Most people don't need all the bells and whistles, yet they are shoved in our throats and forcing us to buy new hardware that we don't need, that worked just fine until recently.

I hate fucking webmonkey jsniggers that are so incompetent that they think that they need 3 different JS frameworks just to show the right animation for the button. Thank god my text browser can't open them, it's a benchmark of sanity and a antidote for niggerlicious trash. You passed the test, again, thanks for the effort.

>Unsurprisingly, in the age of LLMs there's going to be a slow trickle of garbage that consistently comes in and occasionally gets past our human sensibilities.

But what about your LLM quality rating system or whatever? Fighting with the same weapon or some thing. I know that for a small non-profit website keeping quality moderation is hard, but seeing LLM assisted posts just dissapoint me, and I don't want to engage and wasting my time replying to slop, whether it is "human-altered" or not. I don't know why people are wasting their time to post fucking LLM slop nigger garbage, but I will never be able to comperhend human stupidity and general retardation, because what a nigger will see a small board/forum and think "Yeah, time for some slop" and post retarded shit that seems geniune at the surface but LLM style of opinionless writing is obvious, so everyone are wasting their time reading low effort slop. Reddit and 4chan are already there, there's plenty of normie retards that will happily engage in such threads. There's no need to bring that shit here.

>There is no solution to this that doesn't involve going the "TastyFish" route and locking down HTTP access (see: https://www.tastyfish.cz/ ).
I'm well aware of that guy, he's a legend and I had lots of fun reading LRS. Cool that you know him too.
Well, if you go obscure enough, no one will end up actually using your platform except for 2-3 autists, and even they will soon abandon this idea. We already have the problem of zero-to-none active users, and I don't want it to be worse. Going obscure is not an option. And it still won't work. Glowniggers will get you even with Gopher, that's the curse of being a public platform without globohomo censorship.

>The majority of our activity goes into the services that we host.
Oh, got it, so those numbers are not just for the forum but for everything that is hosted here. I was not aware.

>If the state of the forum is to be improved, people just need to use it better.
That's why I was asking all those questions. I was wondering whether this place really worth the effort after seeing numerous LLM-generated posts. It's good that you actually see the problem instead of keeping the eyes shut and letting the site rot and collapse because of clankers. I can't call myself an active user, but I'm trying to reply to some threads here and there, maybe I'll create my own in the future. Now I see that it's not worthless to do so.

>What's even worse is when old posts and threads that have become incredibly well-received or "representative" of the site are suddenly suspected of being synthetically generated.
This is honestly fucked. I don't want new users to come here, see the slop and go away. But if more low-effort slop will pop up this might be the case, and turn off new users from using this board.

>Got any suggestions?
I know that criticising is way easier than actually doing shit, but I think that we should see less LLM-assisted threads, and actually discourage people from posting those in the first place. If this will become more prominent problem than now, a banner might be added on top of the page, something like: "Don't post anything via LLM-assistance, your post will get deleted and you will be banned" or some shit.
Low engagement is also a problem, but it is not so significant. It is better to have quality over quantity, so you can stand out from other normie-infiltrated platforms. Attracting newcommers is also hard because you can't control who comes here. Maybe some glownigger fed will notice your platform and CP spam will increace in 200%, or slopify it with bots that are creating and answering the threads, but that's another story. If I'll come up with anything worthwhile to add to make Cyberix better be sure I'll share it. Thank you for being interested. Have a great day!

yes definitely.

Prime the site to be about quality. Quality = same metrics automod rates as baseline if retarded. Automod becomes top reporter and aligns with moderation and rules

buut bans are useless and deleting shitty posts is a slippery slope

How absolutely based of you. I think the prime way to avoid falling to the enshitification of the rest of the internet is to detach from it. Not in a "we're better than you" sort of way (I mean sort of), but in a way that to build a better future you must own your own tools to create it. Places like Discord are inherently fragile and susceptible to things like forced age verification, outside moderation, censorship, and other antics.

As an aside, have you lot looked into the Gemini protocol? I quite like the protocol, and it enforces many of the standards you've enforced on yourself here. Perhaps there's space for you to have a Gemini facing version of this site, time permitting of course. There's some cool Gemsites (what counts for websites for Gemini) out there too that I enjoy. I believe its due to the low-content, high word count nature of the protocol.

Very cool corner of the internet, I'll definitely keep coming back.

yes 4cuck threads gotta be heckin preserved despite already being preserved elsewhere. we are reinventing the wheel here

lol that hasn't been the case for a long time, nobody produces or develop anything and arguments are strawmans and one-liners. there is a few gems here and there but unfortunately buried beyond heaps of fucking trash, we used to have a article board on the front page of the site which was easier to get to, now it's fucking gone.
i would handout advice and suggestions but whats the fucking point if you don't even listen to your constituents that been behind you since the start? let alone your current constituents, remember that whole deleting cyberix discord debacle? fucking took months for you pull the life support on that trash even after multiple people complained about it. your adminstration is fucking splintered with no real unified goal or direction, all of your site revisions and changes have been done by different staff doing and undoing changes, ive never seen a forum let alone a site do more than 3 major changes in under a year and who knows if the latest change is gonna last for more than a few months at best.
I'm bailing from this shit for good and this post will heed the warning to new users of merit that have good intentions of participating in this place, don't bother and save the headache. it's ran by incompetent zoomers that don't know what the fuck theyre doing and bad actors know it, look elsewhere than this shitshow

Primarily bad actors and spam, the whole AI debacle was the last nail in coffin i know atleast several people left during the discord bridge era (i cant remember their names unfortunately) cause people were sick of the trash coming out of there, occasional forum raids since staff couldn't figure out how to wrestle that mess. i know lolcat threw awhole fit about this forum in his mumble server back then calling staff "retards for allowing reblox zoomers"

I don't care. I stopped caring about adhering to this maniacal ideology revolving technology and the Internet. It is unrealistic. The purists do not want to put in any effort to build anything.
I have been the sole builder.

>ive never seen a forum let alone a site do more than 3 major changes in under a year

Because I am the sole builder, I am not afraid to experiment. I will continue to experiment until I can settle on something that actually moves us closer to achieving our goals and is satisfactory.

The problem with only allowing posts that are "quality" is that "quality" is extremely subjective. Cyberix had a "quality" posting rule last year when the default layout was the minimalist text layout and it only pissed people off to an endless degree. Not everyone wants to constantly effortpost all the time and that's something that has to be accepted. Even you got pissed at us because we deleted a shitpost of yours that you posted under Anonymous. So, top-down, purist moderation fails. It's subjective, it's unreliable, and even its advocates hated it when it was applied to them.

As for the site itself, the problem with the previous layout was that it was too hacky and forced you to click an endless amount of times in order to get to a single thread. You had to click back and forth between links in order to navigate the site. That pisses me the fuck off. The site looked and worked like shit whenever I was to try to load it in a old browser or on a small screen. God forbid I need to load this site on my phone or try to introduce people I know to this site on their phones.

The new BBS layout has fixed all of these issues in one fell swoop.

The majority of my response to your post and the other posts in this thread alongside the active posters in the chatrooms will consist of a polished set of replies I made on my phone. I am reposting it here as a reply to you because I wrote this after I saw your posts and is directed at everyone who is interested:

> > the forum could actually flourish and thrive
> I have the same idea. just hibernate the forum for good and leave it until we just have more people to populate the forum with interesting stuff

I have always been saying that the forum currently serves to be a vector for long term discussion and archival of things we find interesting from elsewhere on the web. Forum activity has always been incredibly low compared to the chatrooms. It makes no sense for the forums to constantly be at the forefront of the Cyberix page when nobody cares about forums in 2026. RO0K says the chatrooms are cancer and acts like banning random people is going to fix it all and not just lower activity any further.

I have given up trying to appease people from across the spectrum. The zoomers don't care because they're mindless idiots who are accustomed to their technological slavery and ENJOY being abused by their handlers. The situation is similar with 4channers. They refuse to leave. They can't. For reasons, of course. They really are there forever.

The one thing I keep saying that people are ignoring is that I am designing the entirety of Cyberix to function as an isolated Internet node. The goal is to be capable of handling the concept of the people's only major usage of the Internet to go through Cyberix, including my own. One day, the only major website I shall visit, maybe outside of other websites that are affiliated, related to, or originate from Cyberix in some way shape or form is Cy-X.net.

I find it funny that there are people who have been complaining about us for the past year but have never made any substantial shit of their own. They have not produced anything meaningful. No unique projects or ideas spawned and developed here in public. No OC. In reality, it has all come from me. There are no builders here or anywhere else in these public alternative tech spaces. I only am finding variants of CONSUMER.

The network effect has knocked out the public Internet into a collection of a few omnipresent social media networks. What remains is porn, LARP and obscure groups of people who live in private cliques.

People are still complaining about the site change. The previous layout did not work well on smaller resolutions. It used nasty hacks to get that sidebar working. It's not a good look for the site's front page to consist of the same randomized pool of featured threads and articles and the Recent Activity page displaying posts from a week ago. It did not work on Netscape or IE6.
The new layout works on Internet Explorer 3, now.

> It doesn't even have a name it's literally called "other"

Because I have always said the forum is a place for long form discussion and archival, I am now restructuring it to force that approach by making it so sharing links that you find elsewhere, or GOOD SHIT that you or someone else made and discussing them is the point the forum serves. And then, "other" is a place for arbitrary discussion.

The hierarchy USED to look like this:

(*) Cyberix Message System
|-- (*) recent-threads
|-- [#] cyberix-team [locked]
|-- (-) cyberix-announce (2)
|-- (o) cyberix (112)
|-- (o) public (335)
|-- (o) news (57)
|-- (o) software (131)
`-- (*) games (29)

People only used #public. #public was the dumping ground.
Same situation with META and TECH being unused but IMBALANCED being the dumping ground.
So, I have stopped caring. We'll see what I do next.

The newcomer sees "DEAD", when they see small numbers and low statistics because the Internet has conditioned them to require hyper stimulation everywhere they go. Most if not all Alt-Tech spaces with an actually sizable group of people have a Discord server now.

> >the remaining competent mod left ages ago after the owner went full AI worshipping among other micro dramas
>remember that whole deleting cyberix discord debacle? fucking took months for you pull the life support on that trash even after multiple people complained about it.

R0OK and many others wanted the Discord bridge gone because the people there were "shit". Then they wanted me to purge the chatrooms of people they didn't like. Then, after I did nothing, it became "PLEAAAASEEE get rid of the funny AI bot it's SPYING on our PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE CHATROOM that was went unused for 2 days straight before it came here.... PLEASE KILL THE BOT, THIS IS NOW THE REASON WHY I DON'T USE THIS PLACE... EVEN THOUGH I WASN'T HERE BEFORE ANYWAY..."

Fuck off with that. I am getting tired of this wasteful purism. It has only been a detriment to this site. None of you have made anything worthwhile outside of maybe a few replies to a thread where we yet again discuss an arbitrary topic and have an arbitrary thought and opinion on it.

OH MY GODDDD I LOVE HAVING A REALLY COMPLEX AND IN-DEPTH OPINION ON AN IDEA THAT I DON'T ACTUALLY BOTHER TO PARTICIPATE IN OUTSIDE OF TYPING IT HERE :^) I WILL HOWEVER, NOT PUT THIS SAME EFFORT INTO... MAKING ANYTHING THAT ISN'T A BIG FUCKING WALL OF TEXT IN RESPONSE TO YET ANOTHER "OH MY GOD GUYS THE INTERNET IS SO FAKE AND GAY. IM GONNA GO INNAWOODS!!! LMAO!!! UNCLE TED!!! BUT IN REALITY I AM GOING TO DO ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING BECAUSE I AM TOO CREATIVELY STARVED TO EVEN BUILD A FUCKING CABIN. GET THESE FUCKING NORMALFAGS OUT OF MY EXTENSIBLE MESSAGING AND PRESENCE PROTOCOL MULTI USER CHAT NOW NOW NOW!!!!

Holy shit. It's LARP all around. Anyway:

The purists who left Cyberix have not made anything recognizable from far away. What do I find whenever I search for a project or a website and community that IS active and might have people who make things??? A fucking Discord server. A subreddit. A Twitter account. Oh. Alright, Now that's hilarious. Any project that wants to be serious will have atleast one of these things and that's just the way it is.

> > No unique projects or ideas spawned and developed here in public.
> wrong. wurzel was making his own minecraft but we haven't heard of him in a while. there's just not enough people, yet alone real makers, or even "uniqure great creators"

The real makers are all contained inside of social media and Discord servers. Do any of you see the problem yet? How about a workaround? No?

The people who DO build and know about and want to pursue the free and open Internet and get away from centralized hellholes have already hidden themselves in their own personal burrows on website domains that you can only get to by pure accident or by knowing someone who knows another guy.

Everyone else is inside the social media bubble.

I have learned that people here in these kinds of spaces (alt-tech, alt-chan, "indie-web, old-web") have an unhealthy amount of ideological purity for the very little they do to actually propagate it correctly. All these punks do is participate in flamewars targeted at anything that doesn't meet their arbitrary standards. I would consider myself a holder of heavy ideological purity but I am not afraid to experiment or actually put it to the test and verify it's validity in the landscapes we find ourselves in now.

There is nothing inherently wrong with having a Discord server in order to attract people to the Network. When you think of Cyberix you should be thinking of its creations, projects, and unique community, not "LOL THEY USE IRC. XMPP. MUMBLE!!!! OH MY GOD. THEIR WEBSITE IS SO FUCKING RETRO OH MY GOD"!

It is a vector for communication. Cyberix should be branching out and providing multiple vectors. If one has a lot people and it starts to go bad, then the fact that alternative vectors exist and it's already been subconsciously shoved into their psyche that there's a fledgling community they can hop to once Discord finally starts to decay prevents an arbitrary stifling of otherwise perfectly welcome growth and contribution in the first place.

Cyberix's front page has been the Webchat. That is a strategic decision. It is more active and requires less thought to contribute to. As a result we have had occasional waves of great discussions come from webchatters. The gate to entry is less complicated than making a new forum thread. This is a natural evolution from adding SSH chat. Now you can just chat immediately in your web browser. We have noticed increased activity in the chatrooms as a result of this.

Turning Cyberix into yet another mega secret ultra Puritan secret clique will not grow it. I am being realistic now and I am seeking a middle way.

A large chunk of you people hate phoneposting arbitrarily but I just made all of these posts from my phone and you probably wouldn't have thought to guess that if I didn't tell you about it beforehand. This is yet another example of the worthless ideological purity that I am beginning to despise. What makes you different from the nostalgia fagging zoomers when you:

>A: yearn for LE OLD INTERNET
>B: but do ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING to improve the situation?

You don't need to code in order to MAKE SOMETHING GOOD. Holy shit, what do any of you do on a daily basis? Do you engage in ANYTHING creative? Yes? Post that fucking shit. OpenFische is a GREAT EXAMPLE of what I'm looking to see from non-coders.

I am beginning to prefer pragmatic strategies. I will absolutely make a fucking Discord server because I recognize some people have accumulated some kind of personal debt that prevents them from leaving that platform. They might not have been aware of alternative protocols before because of how FUCKED the Internet is. Alright, fair. That can be done. And there shouldn't be anything wrong with that, because it's just another platform that happens to be bridged together with the rest of Cyberix.
>Discord is a plague that should be exterminated
I agree, however, I don't agree.
Not bridging Discord to Cyberix will not contribute to Discord's demise.

>purists are everywhere in this part of the internet, i don't know how you didn't despise it already

I tolerated and understood it for quite some time but I realize that these people like to say a lot of shit but then do Absolutely Fucking Nothing.
Kouya/Myrd has a website of some kind where he ALSO hosts services and has a forum which has had 5 new threads within the last three months.. and that's kind of it. Look at DigDeeper's page and you'll see that Cyberix is the only fucking link on that site where there appears to be a semi-active community and a tangible set of goals attached to it.

>yes 4cuck threads gotta be heckin preserved despite already being preserved elsewhere. we are reinventing the wheel here
The 4channel list exists because I don't want to use 4chan's website natively. I am fine with copy-pasting 4chan threads here that are GOOD. The Internet is public and free. Cyberix already is Anonymous and most people here are familiar with 4chan. A good 4chan thread is made by Anonymous therefore Anonymous is free to continue that thread elsewhere. I don't care if Archives already have it. Ghostposting is irrelevant

The builders who are already aware of the alternative web have already resigned themselves to their burrows. Everyone else is still inside the social media bubble.
Therefore, if Cyberix wishes to attract builders and bring more people in and onboard them to our set of beliefs and goals then a compromise will have to be made where Cyberix establishes itself on mainstream websites in an effort to bring new blood in more efficiently.

R0OK, Kouya and the others have abandoned the Network for reasons that all simplify down to not following the ideological purity hard enough. They do not appear to recognize the bigger picture, or properly understand the current landscape of the Internet. I am going to adapt and fucking experiment instead of doing absolutely Fucking Nothing.

The purism only works for small sekrit clubs that don't intend on making or showing anything off. It really does only work under specific circumstances. You cannot have a public space that creates and propagates OC while isolating yourself. Whatever creativity the purists had in 'em is gone. Take a look at "Heyuri". Le old four chan, guise! LULZ! DESU DESU POOLS CLOSED YOTSUBA INTERN

>it's all just porn and larp

It seems like alternative technology spaces and Doing Absolutely Fucking Nothing is an extremely prevalent combo that I can't stop finding. The purists have it all wrong, and that's why altchans are always dead. They have nothing to offer but "LOL. WE Are Not Four Chan."
"We. Um. Like. QUALITY POSTS! Please post Quality Here Guys!!! Quality Quality Quality! On our /B/ Board. LOL XD RANDUMB! Am I Right, Ayynons? Get it? AYY LMAO! OUR High Quality Four Chan The Chan Ouf Four Four Oh Not Them WE Are Not THem We ARe a Different Number, or Actually FUck That We are now actually a different WORD - Chan See? Suffix Chan Number Chan Ohhhh fuuuuuckkkk MY FOUR Anonymous ANonymity We are ANonymous Fear us We are LE Four Chan But BETTER because we are the 777th Chan to deploy VICHAN And that makes us Unique because 777 GET!!!!!!!!!!"

"Join our IRC server! Our Four Alternative Chan IRC Server! Yes, We are Very Unique and oOriginal. please Check out Our WEBRING of 750 Other Alternative Four Chans who Are Not The Same Fucking Shit Over and Over Again"

DON'T WORRY GUYS, WE WILL DO FUCKING NOTHING and EVERYTHING will magically COLLAPSE AND THEY WILL COME. The people who have been stuck posting technologically impressive creations on Twitter will come to our 12 user shackcabin IN NO TIME!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>lol that hasn't been the case for a long time, nobody produces or develop anything and arguments are strawmans and one-liners. there is a few gems here and there but unfortunately buried beyond heaps of fucking trash
>nobody produces or develop anything
The Internet purists can't seem to build anything. That is what I have observed. The builders are on the other side, shrouded in illusion. The roadmap is clear to me.

You cannot have a perfect, pure, isolated fortress from day one, a place unsullied by any contact with the corporate web unless you already have a group of people who are all willing to WORK in order to maintain it and keep it lively. We are not in that situation. We will reach out, pull people in, and only then will we consider shutting the gates.

I want to actually achieve something. My condolences. Everybody outside of your little cliques thinks you're fucking retarded, and now that I've had experience with both sides of the spectrum, I have yet again come to the conclusion that I must pursue the middle way.

Sometimes a good feedback response is short and not long well thought out blah blah something:

I dunno if I'm missing something but the site doesn't run on dillo for me, not even on dillo+. At first I thought it was a conscious decision but after reading this I realized it is probably a mistake.

You click on the boards frame stuff in dillo but then it's all empty. I can't find how to enter password to unlock the threads and boards or whatever it's called and I can't see the non-locked ones either.

Kind regards,
