Lately, I came upon a pair of Sony true wireless earbuds and I must say that they're very convenient. It's nice to just pop one in at work. They can sound decent, Bluetooth has become better at audio encoding in recent years. New over-head headphones seem to suffer from build quality issues, and earbuds seem to have avoided that.

What can you do? Only say how and where they might be wrong, just explain one time and that will be it. Maybe something will click in their head and they will listen to you. But selfishness and ignorance often wins, so be ready. Don't take it too close to your heart, sometimes we just need to let them make their mistakes to gain their own experience, no matter how old they are. And sometimes, it might be even for the better.

Wireless is just so much more convenient for my use which is mostly listening to music while I'm doing something or on the bus and just situations like that. The only real negative for me is the annoying process of having the connect / reconnect them to my phone every time but other than that, I'm fine. I'm also not that big of an audiophile so I don't really care about audio quality and what not (I am still relying on a streaming service sadly).

If you want to give them a shot I recommend the Artti T10 for you. It looks as simple as it gets IMO and the sound quality for the price is unmatched by any other IEM/earbud I’ve tried. This thing sounds so clean with a good DAC/AMP.
I showed it to my dad who isn’t into audio gear like me and he was blown away by it too. He started borrowing it regularly so eventually I got him his own pair.
And you don’t have to make a big fuss about it, if you don’t like the twisted cables, you can just change them to something more lowkey as well. Whatever floats your boat.

They are literally dirt cheap and sound very decent for the price. The look is pretty oldschool as well which I personally like. And if you put some foam on them which usually comes packaged with the earbud then it also becomes very comfortable. I can wear mine for hours without any discomfort, and sometimes when I pause the music I forget that I’m even wearing them.
But they don’t block out any outside noise, so it might not be for everybody or for every use case. I usually only use mine indoors so I don’t mind.
If you want to try them I recommend the Yincrow X6 or the Faaeal Iris 2.0.
