EMP wave incoming.

too late, because the crash essentially happened when pricing went through the roof. the "collapse" you speak of will be the end of it all, yes, but there isn't much to hoard unless you're a richfag.

EMPs really won't do shit. The EMP scenarios from movies are highly unlikely, our tech is simply too good. You may lose a transformer here or there, or some antique piece may fail but it would largely be a huge nothingburger.

Maybe tools to scrap salvage gold from contacts? Computer parts will become dirt cheap once datacenter demand collapses and ram will become so cheap and plentiful that people will sell it to you for it's scrap value.

Makes sense, units that aren't total shit are becoming harder to find, especially lower-wattage models. A brand putting "game" or "gaming in its name is an immediate red flag for me. I miss EVGA power supplies.

HDDs, even at inflated prices. Everything else is so overpriced that barring taiwan invasion it’s not going to get worse in the future. Get some chonky HDDs and hoard whatever seems like you’d use in the next decade or so.

EMP fucks up long, uninterrupted power lines. What long power lines do you have in a computer?

Uh technological advancements gave us protection from the worst virus in known human history covid? Ever heard of it? You're alive right now? Well my case is closed then, without technology, you would have died in 2020

Not being able to pretend humanity isn't just one small psyop away from collectivizing into some homogeneous machine of rule followers who will do whatever the man on the screen tells them was indeed a blackpill.

Very low effort bait. You should be ashamed of yourself.
