I don’t mean a patty of just crab meat, I mean your regular ground beef patty, but with some good quality crab meat as well, like maybe 75/25 beef/crab.
I don’t know, might be nice.

Anonymous · 2026-07-07 21:23 [#5134][report] >>20065 It might be ok but beef is a strong flavour. You probably won't even notice the crab at 75/25. Maybe try 50/50 and see if it works.

Anyone got any unexpectedly burger toppings? For me a thick slice of an apple is actually great, crunchy like lettuce but way more flavorful.
Anonymous · 2026-07-08 02:29 [#5261][report] seems like a waste of crab meat i could savor entirely from a spoon maybe a thin already cooked patty, topped with a smear of crab, no cheese or anything else, just the bread and meat

Note: any state claiming they do MD style decidedly does not. Only MD properly gives you a massive lump of crab meat in a ball, fried baked or broiled.

If you tried this, it would probably be super overcooked rubbery crab interspersed between a different doness beef. Sounds nasty.

I make crab and pork skewers and roll them in rice paper with herbs. And then I mix the drippings with rice and toasted nuts. Serve them in packs, works well.
