What are some unusual things that you like in your burgers? For example, I like potato chips and potato salad in them. Nice creaminess, crunch, and richness.
The chipotle Tabasco bottle suggests using it in burgers but I haven't done that yet.

Anonymous · 2026-07-09 22:06 [#5936][report] I used to love burgers with all the fixins or specialty burgers with themed premium toppings (bbq burger, mushroom, Santa Fe, etc.) but now that I started buying higher quality meat and cooking more at home, there's nothing that compares to a plain steamed bun with mayo and ketchup with a mustard fried patty cooked in butter taken right out of the pan and onto the bun. Good burgers don't need nasty iceberg or grocery store tomatoes and fat onion slices. It just distracts from the meat.
