This or a G&T. They're simple, easy and get you drunk immediately. If you want anything more complex you go to a bar.

I buy single serve cans of fancy bloody mary mix from grocery outlet for 50 cents a can, add ice and a bunch of sake I also buy from grocery outlet to them.

I also like a margarita with siete lenguas or fortaleza if I'm feeling more spendy.

If I'm lazy, Gin and Tonic. If I'm feeling up to the task of actually making a cocktail, either a Rum Runner or a Mojito.

I tend towards a Suffering Bastard or a Saturn.
I will make an Old Fashioned, an El Presidente, or a Daquiri depending on how I'm feeling though.

Rum and Cranberry. For like the last 22 years every other day with a few exceptions. Like if I am in Japan I'll drink a highball or some touhou drinks at bars. If I am kicking it alone at the ritz or marriott, strong zero from the grocery store.

Meijer cranberry juice and Luksusowa vodka.
Anonymous · 2026-07-16 19:20 [#9614] [report]
White Russians are my comfort cocktail.

In the summer, though, I like a nice gin and tonic or mint julep when it's just insufferably hot out. They're just terribly refreshing.

But if I had to pick one, there's nothing like a good margarita with Cointreau and fresh lime.
