The icons can be downloaded from pling.com and the e16 themes can be downloaded from github. The file manager is rox-filer, leafpad and ee as text editors, gpicview for photos, audacious for music, profanity for xmpp and hexchat for irc. Everything else that I use that I didn't bother including is either gtk2 or cli because I refuse to use anything else for the sake of consistency and of course keepassxc is the command line version.

I've gotten it to compile recently, it's a bit buggy but otherwise does work as a desktop environment, though sadly the kde2-kdeutils module wasn't really ported with the exception of klaptopdaemond (or whatever it's called).
Old screenshot, it's my personal dwm build. I still have it, I just use KDE nowadays, but considering it'll drop X11 support soon™ I've been thinking of going back.

I took a lot of time to setup FVWM 2.2.5 (comes in base install on OpenBSD. It has the permissive license, newer versions use GPL) to try and make a setup that won't need me to install anything other than baseinstall on OpenBSD.
However, this FVWM version is so old that it doesn't support Xinerama and thus multi screen support is really shit.
Second image is of what I use when I don't cope about wanting no extra software. Might go back and cope by trying CWM again. Otherwise I do run DWM with 2 patches or so, stackaside and the separate bar and setups on the different "workspaces". Different workspace remembers different master/stack ratio

I got NetBSD running with graphics. Haven't had time to set it up more properly but I thought about copying my dotfiles from OpenBSD. However, I'm not sure how to set this up now since I kinda liked how the terminal just melted into the background.
If anyone have any input for me or some tips (preferably slick ones) considering I am a first time NetBSD user now, that'd be splendid. If no one has any tips or tricks then that's also splendid, as long as you enjoy yourself :D
