This is a thread for semi-interesting "workarounds," I.E. how you avoid a limitation of a program you otherwise like a lot.
My problem was, the Surf (suckless.org) browser doesn't have bookmarks. I had already written a small program with dmenu to use the browser (or any arbitrary program) more easily.
Now normally, you would have to manually type out 'tabbed -r 2 surf -e '' 127.0.0.1' every time if you, for example wanted to open the browser to a website you were serving. I figured, since I was already doing this, I could simply write a website to serve myself, that would act as a homepage and store my bookmarks. It's still very much a 'work-in-progress' (I made it in a few minutes yesterday) but I think it's a suitable demonstration.
Apologies I couldn't also post a screenshot of what the website looks like when rendered, there's some CSS, because I want a consisten color scheme and a font.
