Won't let people send messages over to it, though. I will also establish a logging services and publish daily logs on the forum! Lots of valuable information is discussed there that shouldn't be put to waste!

Anonymous · 2026-01-07 14:54 [#1634][report] whats the point bro if we want to look at the MUC well just look at it. also diggy has MAM disabled for OBVIOUS reasons and that would defeat the purpose. dont do useless shit
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 15:49 [#1635][report] >>3844 what are the obvious reasons and what's wrong with publishing logs
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 15:52 [#1636][report] >>3845 obviously he doesnt want logs of the chat to be retained in case of potential glowies
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 15:52 [#1637][report] why don't you ask him
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 15:53 [#1638][report] >>3841 I think we should establish a log posting thread for the burning train. Why not? I can bridge that to a private IRC and then compile the messages to a forum thread
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 16:54 [#1640][report] >>3848 ask diggy. i dont think its a good idea otherwise he would have MAM turned on!
Anonymous · 2026-01-07 21:56 [#1647][report] >>3850 what if he does it regardless of diggy's input? O.o
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:24 [#1745][report] >>3857 based permanent archives for everybody right fucking now forced archival we will archive and you will like it
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:29 [#1750][report] what a fucking retarded idea
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:29 [#1751][report] What makes it retarded?
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:38 [#1755][report] I like digdeeper and all but his MUC is mediocre at best. There is literally no point in bridging his MUC over to this forum. Literally how would that benefit anybody? Like other anons said, MAM is disabled for a fucking reason.
Also wait a minute, 'bridging' implies that all the chat would go through and directly to the forum. Even if you're just copying specific conversations and pasting it here, still seems like a weird ass idea. How do you expect to curate this anyways? If it really is a bridge then you must be automating it somehow, and if theres ever another spam attack on burningtrain it can become cyberix's problem too. This idea seems odd and unnecessary at best and completely braindead at worst.
myrd · 2026-01-09 15:40 [#1756][report] the burning train is one of the worst mucs in the entire space of xmpp. nothing of actual value is discussed there and it is full of a bunch of spammy retards who just shitpost. id rather you bridge joinjabber than burning train and joinjabber is full of a bunch of sensitive crybabies who want to lgbtqiabcdef+-ify xmpp
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:42 [#1757][report] >>3966 i'd like to piss some people off by forcefully archiving what they say without their consent. would archiving joinjabber and posting it here accomplish more seethe than archiving the burning train?
Anonymous · 2026-01-09 15:46 [#1758][report] just dont archive the spam and you should be fine, still such a weird idea in the first place but if cyberix doesnt care about you doing this then fuck it
