Why has no one covered the telemetry involved in sending every webpage you visit to microsoft? How does this function?

thanks,
so you can have an LTSC installation on a VM with strictly limited internet access and you still get a GDID assigned

It's 1000% useless until Microsoft registers it. No internet no registration. The registration url already got hit by my fuck microsoft rule.

I'm saying if you are le epic hacker man why are you sending any data to Microsoft? How does their epic telemetry bypass a simple Microsoft block? My bet is currently it doesn't.

Now that is a massive shift now, isn't it?
Wasn't your claim that you only get one when you have a Microsoft Account?

Well there kind of is, in that you just clean install Windows and it makes a new ID.

So just never use Windows Update and run Windows always behind a VM or router, where you can whitelist specific domains and block everything else?

>why the fuck are you doing that?
Because the whole purpose of the Windows 11 LTSC VM is to run goyware, that strictly needs Windows in an updated environment.
Why else would i have this shit?
And yes, its firewalled with outgoing default block rules.

But hey, i am sure you have some super highly extremely tinkered walled off system that never receives updates and that's even more limited than this VM, where you don't have a GDID, right?
