Gunbroker find of the day, a stainless/brushed nickel? German P229 .40 magazine. A steal at $50.

The one on the left is a very shiny nickel coating that is flaking off. The new one could be NP3. My first PD issue gun was a 1989 P228 which tb dept. sent back to Sig to have the slides coated in NP3.

/k/ tells me that the best 22 LR pistol to get is either a ruger or a buck because muh grandpappy did and so did his grandpappy
youtube tells me the best 22 LR pistol is one of those miniaturized real guns, that's flimsy and falls apart. the rationale being you need to develop a reflex for quickly recognizing a malfunction and taking corrective action, preferably on a gun that resembles the one you'll carry. so once you move on to the 9mm or whatever, the one that actually works 99% of the time, you'll be better equipped to deal with the failures in an emergency
who is right?

If I have my FFL order me something specific, does that negate the usual transfer fees that come with having something sent to my FFL from gunbroker, for example?
>inb4 ask your FFL
I'm just curious what's the norm.

In my experience yes, assuming you are paying them their price and/or MSRP for the gun. That's the key difference, in fact if they charge you a transfer fee on top of a gun they priced i'd turn 360 degrees and walk out.

Roger that, thanks. It's a private FFL I've been going to for years, but I usually end up buying weird stuff to have sent in.

I’m using a dryfire mag for my Glock and I have the 10 lb trigger in and it is set to the same weight and pull as a NY trigger
What the fuck how did my fathers manage to use this shit
I’m on rep 400-500 today and muscles ache I didn’t know I had. On a side note; I think it’s really helped with my grip because stuff that didn’t matter at 5lb trigger with a short wall and reset absolutely matter with a NY 10lb trigger

Yes. They are ordering it from a wholesaler/distributor and marking it up to you from the wholesale price. They are getting their $50-100 that way.

Uh I don't think either of those sources told you either of those things, because they're both as varied as White peoples eye color and you'd never be able to boil it down to something that specific.
What do you want to do with the gun, and how much do you want to pay?

92fs or a 1911?
1911 is bad ass, but the beretta is cheaper, cheaper to shoot, and will allow me to become accustomed to a DA trigger pull.
