Hi, I’m trying to get FCM notifications working on a Sonim XP5900. It runs Android 11 on a Sonim AOSP-based build, has no Google Play services, and doesn’t appear to support signature spoofing, nft-tables, or user namespaces.. I am looking for a way to run microG’s Cloud Messaging, if Aliucord’s notification path supports it, but without sig spoofing or even proper root, I’m kind of stuck..
I currently have temporary DirtyInit access to root, but no persistent root or Magisk/KernelSU setup. Im not too sure what I can do with this, really..
Here are some details about my device:
Kernel: Qualcomm 4.19.157-perf+
Kernel build: March 18, 2024
Security patch: February 1, 2024
SoC platform: bengal
Build: 5P.2.0-12-11.0.0-10.70.00
I used DIrtyInit to extract whatever firmware, images I could get my hands on, if that could be helpful. It’s an AT&T variant.
I also have a rooted XP8800 (still has Google Play Services for compat with stuff + banking apps) that can work for my needs, but the XP5900 is cooler and I wish to turn that into my daily driver.
Full firmware package.. boot, super… recovery…

Help would really be appreciated. Thank you all in advance!!
