I think a lot of them posts in other boards too, if not why buy a pass? To post on vip only?

Cause their site is in affect already destroyed by the swarm, its actually worse as they dial up and down to keep anons contained here. they can sponsorship rail to a shitchain and force everyone without a pass to pay to post. They already own distribution and the republic wins as it babies anons to the real thing

it used to have 2 or three originally i cant remember. Now it only has 2 and I use /lounge/ but again the site interface is fucking dog shit. It takes after the 8ch imageboard with all the clutter garbage and old themes and the reply is fucking dog shit. They need to be following how 4chanX is set up for that. Every single altchan is cluttered dog shit now.
>>24972
i don't believe that at all maybe someone within the friend group made an imageboard but im sure its used so little it is pointless. Again altchans are shit because of the software used. No one wants to use cluttered schizo posting and impossible to follow your own posts. Even on old/b/ when things used to move fast af I'd have an easier time keep track of my posts manually. Now i can't find jack shit on some of these altchans that have slow af boards.

its just an excuse. vichan was already dead.
>And the few that are, just spam
It amazes me that newfags think having pizza spammed on there shitty altchan is somehow a fucking conspiracy theory. Their used to be posts on /b/ back forever ago that would post altchans where people would just spam pizza and just destroy it because the mods were sleeping. Its not conspiracy theory you retards its just regular people and also pedos fucking with you. I had a somewhat successful RP imageboard and I never had ANY cp spam on it.

4chan's traffic has been declining throughout the 2020s, amd I feel like there's been a huge dip after the new captcha was implemented. But the overall decline is definitely happening. What's weird is that it started not even that long ago. Maybe other websites basically becoming 4chan contributed to this. You can find shit on xitter/youtube/instagram now that would not be out of place on /pol/.

There's maybe 15 real people across all the boards. It's just hard to tell because 4chan-GPT spins up threads in many boards every day. /g/ is full of bot created threads to make it look active. Anyone could spin up a chan and do the same thing.

I don't care about your politics nonsense or your delusional conspiracy theories. 4chan is owned by Hiroyuki Nishimura. It is funded through advertising and revenue from 4chan passes. I'd rather not host an altchan again, I have in the past and it sucks. I definitely wouldn't host one for idiots from /pol/.

Don't know where else to post this, but YouTube's comment section has been driving me crazy
I swear, every video I click on, every comment section I peek at, it's always the same style of comments
AI-glaze-bots, it's what it feels like, specifically designed to highlight something positive about the video I'm watching
There's no way YouTube isn't running some AI-algorithm on comment sections to "increase perception of a video's value" or to "push positive sentiment" or whatever
And it's the same with this website, but under a different rule-set.
It isn't the first time that I've noticed that, the moment the keyword AI gets brought up, no matter the thread, suddenly, a swarm of AI-defenders shows up, seemingly at least a dozen of them, endlessly patting each other in the back, "good-effort post sir!" they go.
It's the least genuine thing I've ever seen, I swear, in all my years browsing this website, (which is not as many as some of you, to be clear), I've never seen anything ever get this fiercely and unanimously defended other than the discourse surrounding AI.
It's over, the internet is over.

And I'll say more:
I legitimately think AI has single-handedly brought back using "reddit" as an insult.
I feel as if it had naturally died down for a while, but now, I'm seeing the "reddit" get thrown around a lot exclusively whenever AI is brought up, to be used to dismiss whoever is against it.

I'll say a little more, but this is the last one.
Wherever I go, I keep seeing people argue that,
>If you think AI is bad for X, try using one of the actually good models
And I'm like, how the fuck is increasing the barrier of entry from "some knowledge + some expertise + some software" to dozens of multi-thousand-dollar GPUs, or, using proprietary, gate-kept models through expensive-ass tokens a good thing?
>X has been democratized
They say, the ones that have already secured their wealth and their place, that is.
But it doesn't feel that way. It feels like X has been re-monopolized, reclaimed.
We're now renting the ability to do X, the ability we used to refine, the ability we could carry and share, the ability that might've given us the opportunity to gain some bread.
It is now being hoarded, and we're renting it, but we don't get to own it, no, they can take it away from us whenever they want to.
People are mad about digital media, we're heading onto the age of digital abilities.

4chan has the same A/B testing horseshit as the rest of the Internet now, so when something goes wrong like that, it only happens to a random handful of people and they can never figure it out. Like how I had to go for over a month without watching a single YouTube video because I had an adblocker. Even switching it off didn't work; I know this because I tried. Nobody is even advertising there lmao
I also had the 4chan rangeban for 5-6 weeks, which I think is the same thing you're talking about. One day, it just went away on its own.

CF passes the client IP back as a header so they could do A/B/Z testing if they had any developers. The if is admittedly doing some heavy lifting.
