LibreNT: This guy is using AI to make ReactOS a serious project and it ACTUALLY WORKS AND IS GOOD.

Maybe I'll switch back from Linux once this is done. This is the best of what AI can do. I FUCKING LOVE THIS. No more bowing down to egotistical lazy fuck programmers. Fuck EBUSSI. Fuck GNOME! ReactOS has been so fucking slow and has accomplished very little in the competitive desktop market.

>Yes, that’s PhotoCraft’s Windows 11 ARM64 build running natively on LiberNT OS!
>Running entirely via llvmpipe right now (GPU support isn't validated yet), but performance is already looking surprisingly promising.

>How does LiberNT differ from ReactOS?
>it differs by almost all of that, though part of the line count is Wine syncs

- 64-bit: amd64 and arm64 are the main targets, riscv64 is being brought up on real boards. 32-bit apps run through WoW64 on every 64-bit target, x86 apps on ARM64 through FEX, plus ARM64EC
- A clean-room NT10 memory manager and cache manager; ReactOS's ARM3 memory manager is gone
- Its own WDDM graphics kernel and DWM compositor. Direct3D up to 12 goes through vkd3d over Vulkan, with Mesa llvmpipe/lavapipe for software rendering. NVIDIA/AMD drivers are in progress, not on real cards yet
- Windows 11 is the reference: behavior is checked against real Win11 runs
- New NTFS, USB xHCI, SD and Raspberry Pi drivers

sane programmer + ai = divine intellect

>Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge that is a i386 architecture is now running smooth on our LiberNT OS through FEX + Wine WOW64 with custom patches, sound and all.

TOO FUCKING BAD THEY ONLY HAVE A >discord AND >matrix

BUT DAMN, THAT'S FUCKING HOT. I'd rather use this over Windows 11. I'd rather use this than fuck with the hell that is Linux and its centralized always-online philosophy and the "every single component of this fucking ecosystem is inconsistent with one-another unless you work really fucking hard to make it not or unless everything you use is made by one group of people"

Oh my.. It even has a consistent dark mode!

That's so fucking hot. I'm going to monitor this project very closely. It's based off of ReactOS and they even got some Aero shit going on here and I bet it doesn't have the latency raping or hardware acceleration issues that plague Vista and 7+. I'd still probably use the classic theme anyway, though
