The Heyuri Team just dropped a brand new old internet file uploader.
No email required!! Times New Roman!! Square corners!!!!!!

Truly we have returned to 2006. Except it's Cloudflare'd, requires JavaScript, is full of hentai within hours, and the entire thing was clearly vibecoded by Claude using their own imageboard as a template.
The admin even called it "my first real project on my own" ...while being one of the main Kokonotsuba developers.

>I maed this https://yuibox.yuisuki.net/ (NOT a shock image this time)

>Its a free registration-based (no email needed) file uploader

>feedback would be appreciated ヽ(´ー`)ノ

As expected of Heyuri, it is immediately rife with performative retro anemoicfaggotry.

ZOMG I UPLOADED A FILE ON THE INTERNET!!1

Upload files, store them, share them, or even download them (zOMG) - log in below or register!

wow, downloading a file is so zOMG, guise.

how does it differ from other services like heyuri uploader and catbox?

Well, it's le retro, okay? See how the entire site is made in 8pt font and uses Times New Roman? That's like. VERY retro and old internet. And our use of lingo made before we were born ^_^

And in typical Heyuri fashion, the site is immediately flooded with hentai and porn:

in typical heyuri fashion this leads to porn.png

But because this is like.. OLD INTERNET RETRO HENTAI, it's okay and normal :D

Lets take a closer look at this website.

Asides from the poor attempt at making an "old Internet website" and LARPing as a 2000s 14 year old ("REGISTRATION!1!1!1"), I'd like to bring forth to your attention this line:

This is my first real project on my own

Oh, is it really?

To begin, the Heyuri team has a history of using Claude to vibecode their imageboard software.

https://github.com/Heyuri/kokonotsuba
Claude is listed as a contributor of this repository.

This team relies very heavily on Claude for software development. On their blog, they made several posts about how their site was being updated and overhauled.
From 2025/01/14, to 2025/09/18, and then to 2025/11/23, the blog remarked that "hachikuji", the same person behind this Yuibox, was responsible for major overhauls to the Kokonotsuba codebase.

These overhauls come long after 2023/01/06, the date of the software's inception.

On 2025/09/18, hachikuji finished the deleted posts module, allowing staff to restore deleted posts until they are purged for good.

After two years, basic features such as restoring deleted posts were implemented alongside massive overhauls to the site's codebase.

DoomFanger and hachikuji are the most active developers on this repository:

add CLAUDE.MD TO .gitignore

One look at this commit tells us everything we need to know:
https://github.com/Heyuri/kokonotsuba/commit/ee26e3d7758b0bacbb0145dcde399fd9d3beac1d

[br]/**[br] * Max own-post tokens read from one poll. The client sends its newest posts first and[br] * caps itself to the same number, so the quote-count query stays bounded and the[br] * request URI can't grow with the poster's history.[br] */[br]private const MAX_OWN_POSTS = 300;[br]

These obscenely verbose comments were a personality trait of Anthropic's Opus models. No care is being put into this code. It is not being reviewed. What matters to them is whether or not it works. There are plenty of security vulnerabilities waiting to be exploited here.

Now that we have established the team's tendency to rely on synthesized code, I point attention toward what we can see on the clientside:

A: IT IS CUCKFLARED

Whois yuisuki.net.png
Whois yuisuki.net.png

Cuckflare is **sooo** old internet, guys.
It's just like my MITM HTTP DNS hijackings from duh early 2000s ^_^

B: IT IS ALSO ENTIRELY VIBECODED

Investigating the clientside source code reveals a multitude of JS files and some CSS. It should be implied that this "old internet" website completely breaks unless you enable JavaScript.

https __yuibox.yuisuki.net_.png
https __yuibox.yuisuki.net_.png

Investigating https://yuibox.yuisuki.net/static/css/themes/fuuka-night.css yields this obviously generated CSS comment:

/* Fuuka Night - colours from yui_box, a dark take on Kokonotsuba kokoimg/fuuka.css */

WAOW.. A... DARK (and gritty) TAKE ON KOKONOTSUBA's FUUKA CSS :O

Viewing https://yuibox.yuisuki.net/static/css/yuibox.css brings us the same shit:

/* yui_box base layout. Square corners only: no radius, shadows or decorative gradients.
Every colour comes from the --yb-* variables below; themes/*.css override them. */

* Statistics charts: inline SVG drawn by View/LineChart, two per row on wide screens. */

* Help page: the guide's screenshots shrink to fit; FAQ answers keep their line breaks. */
.help { max-width: 860px; margin: 8px auto; }
.guideShot { text-align: center; }
.guideShot img { max-width: 100%; height: auto; border: 1px solid var(--yb-border); }
.faq { max-width: 860px; margin: 8px auto; }
.faqEntry + .faqEntry { border-top: 1px dotted var(--yb-border); }
.faqQuestion { margin: 8px 0 4px; }
.faqAnswer { white-space: pre-line; margin: 0 0 8px; }

WOW REALLLY?? O_O I DIDNT KNOW THAT WOULD SHRINK THE SCREENSHOTS O_O

*, *::before, *::after,[br]::file-selector-button,[br]::-webkit-meter-bar, ::-webkit-meter-optimum-value, ::-webkit-meter-suboptimum-value, ::-webkit-meter-even-less-good-value,[br]::-webkit-progress-bar, ::-webkit-progress-value,[br]::-webkit-inner-spin-button, ::-webkit-outer-spin-button {[br] border-radius: 0 !important;[br] box-shadow: none !important;[br]}

and for a site that really fucking loves LARPing retro its strange how much modern CSS is in here

Take a look at https://yuibox.yuisuki.net/static/js/upload-selection.js

We can immediately deduct that all hachikuji did was take Kokonotsuba and then ask Claude to make a file uploading service using Koko's files and visuals as a reference/template. No effort was actually put into creating this service. The "old internet" looking shell is a complete facade and the entire site is a sham.

"First real project on my own."

While being one of the main developers of the imageboard software (not your first project)
While the imageboard software is full of Claude comments. (not even your work)
While the "retro" file host is Cloudflare'd, JS-dependent, and vibecoded from a template. (not on your own and not a real project)

Many such cases!!!
