Where do I even go to have a good discussion on tech and other hobbies? This place is shit, r3ddit is shit, orange plebbit is shit, lobsters is shit, other forums and boards are dead, like where's everyone, HELLO! It feels like everyone moved somewhere and I was left alone here, and when I try and make an effort thread it gets killed by schizos and trolls.

I find 4chan pretty good without the bait and shill threads. Just have good filters and don't click on topics you have no interest in.

It's not that everyone is gone, it's that most people are drones programmed by the algos from X, Instagram and other social media (this is why every thread is about LLMs). 4chan in particular also has a huge bot problem now. It's hard to quantify, but if I found out there were more LLM posts than human ones, I wouldn't be surprised.
